Day 5 - Walking MeditationContrary to the instructions of the other 29 days of this course to sit still, and conjure up your mindfulness, meditation can be done while in motion, and walking is an excellent vehicle for awareness. It’s a great way to bring mindfulness into our lives when we are off the meditation cushion. You can do it any time you’re walking, and variations of walking meditation can be equally good meditations and exercise in the hustle and bustle of a large city, or a secluded hiking path. Also, variations of this meditation are effectively used by runners.
