Day 22 – Energy Meditation
Sometimes it’s hard to keep the meditative focus. It takes a certain energy level to deal with our demons. Often, when we’re having a particularly difficult and exhausting time with meditation, it’s because it takes extra effort to hold on to beliefs and habits that aren’t working. When we find ourselves a bit rundown, fatigued, depressed, or just frazzled by it all, it’s good to resort to a “feel-good” meditation. Visualization meditations are in that category. The inner guidance that we get from visualizing can be comforting. After you’ve done a certain visualization meditation several times, it’s easier to drop into it the next time. Flip an internal switch and you’re there. Here we go. Imagine that not one of your thoughts, either positive or negative, have any power over you.
