Day 1 – Body Scan Meditation
To begin with, we will do a simple, but very effective technique known as Body Scan. Your attention will move over different points in your body. In holding your focus on each point for a short amount of time, your mind and body will release and relax. As with most techniques, the exercise can be done many different ways, but we will do one of the simplest and most effective.
As we become aware of the sensations of each specific part of our bodies, we, in turn, let go of those sensations as we proceed to the next point. As we let go of the sensations, we let go of the muscle, too, releasing its accumulated tension and opening to vitality.
